The Aga Khan Hospital Karachi has announced a job vacancy for a Phlebotomist position at one of their collection points in Larkana. Both males and females are highly recommended to apply for the job, as the Aga Khan Hospital is one of Pakistan's largest healthcare centers. Therefore, applicants will gain a high level of practical job experience in this reputable hospital.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify patients' medical reports and their identities through communication to ensure that you hand over the patients' own medical reports.
- Perform the phlebotomy procedure to draw patient samples in a syringe and then inject the same sample into the container, following the requirements of the test.
- Label containers to avoid mixing up patients' samples.
- Follow safety measures, such as disposing of sharp objects to prevent injuries and maintain cleanliness.
- Guide patients about phlebotomy procedures and lab tests as per doctors' prescriptions.
Eligiblity
- 10th pass students, preference will be given to the students with 12th pass education and one year of relavant work experience.
- Strong communication skills verbal as well as in written.
- Expertise in phlebotomy procedures and good knowledge of different collection containers
- Applicant must be able to work in shifts.
